Q: How do I know you're a genuine Charity?
A: You can check the validity of any Scottish charity online at the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator. All you need is the registered charity number (ours is SC013485) or the name (ours is Hillhouse Care). You can check our specific details by clicking on the following link Hillhouse Care Registered Charity Details

Q: How do I know the money you raise goes to needy causes?
A: Our accounts are filed each year and independently audited to ensure compliance with our Charitable status and to ensure that all monies are properly accounted for. 97% of our staff are unpaid volunteers, so the bare minimum is spent on running costs.

Q: How can I make donations?
A: We are always pleased to received quality donations in either goods or cash. You can donate money by sending it to us by cheque to Hillhouse Care, 11 Hill Street, Kilmarnock, KA1 HA. You can make donations by Paypal here on this website by clicking here. You will always receive an acknowledgement and receipt. You can make donations of good quality baby and children's clothing/furniture/toys etc to Hill Street, Kilmarnock, or our shops - see our 'how to donate page' for more information.
